2008-09 Chapter Strategic Plan

Chapter Strategic Plan:
The vision of the Zeta Theta chapter is to be the preminant leadership organization at Kettering University.
Our chapter goals are to improve our 1) On Campus deportment 2) Involvement 3) Accountability 4) Academics
1) On campus deportment - We plan to improve our appearance on campus as a fraternity in our interaction among brothers and others on campus. We will accomplish this by setting a standard that poor conduct isn't acceptable on campus in front of faculty and students. We plan to work towards the
Officer Goals:
Consul (Chris Bidlake):
External:
Connect with chapter presidents to unify the greek community, establish strong on campus leaders, and motivate greeks to improve kettering’s campus life. I'll work to this goal by contacting each house president by September 15, 2008. I'll attend meetings of the IFC and organize at least three meetings of chapter presidents to discuss current issues and help to lead a unified vision of our community.
Internal:
I want to improve the relationships between brothers. I want to inspire younger members to take on more responsibility within the house and prepare them to lead the next years of the chapter. I'll do this through personal interaction between myself and brothers as well as encourage brothers to communicate amongst eachother.
Pro-Consul (Kenan Kurtovic):
Quaestor Goals (Michael DeCello):
To better document the finances of the chapter by itemizing transactions and reimbursements. Quickbooks will be reorganized and aligned with current operations by August 31, 2008. To utilize previous years budgets and expense history of quickbooks to more accurately develop the upcoming budgets. Upcoming budgets will be developed and submitted at least 4 weeks prior to school. To use chapter input in guiding the expenditures towards improving the chapter.100% housebill payment for the duration of my office.
Recruitment Chairman Goals (Blake Steuwe):
To utilize my chairmen to organize two events to encourage interaction between the bid returnees and the brothers with a goal of maintaining 100% bid retention over work term. The events will be scheduled for work term (January-April), and organized by December 22, 2008. One of the events will be a ski-trip. The other events are to be planned by the above date.

A-Section Quaestor Goals:
- Used signed agreements and incentives to get the balances of graduating brothers paid or on a payment plan by Sept. 30th.
- Develop a plan to get alumni to begin paying back debt and have the plan in place by Sept 30th.
- Keep the Assistant Quaestor involved to train him by having him deal with taking in receipts and reimbursements while monitoring the work.
