Theta Beta

2008-2009 Strategic Plan Theta Beta Chapter VISION We will win The University of South Florida’s Chapter of the Year Award by helping and encouraging the members of our Fraternity to become leaders in every aspect of their lives. We feel it is important for the members of our Fraternity to be involved not only in the chapter but also on campus and in the community. We will work to consistently win the Peterson Significant Chapter Award by acting as individuals and a chapter to be involved in every opportunity presented by our Fraternity, the University, and the community to meet the requirements set forth by the Peterson committee. We will obtain leadership skills within the Fraternity to apply to the outside world. These skills will be used to expand and improve the lives of the community as well as our fellow brothers in the USF community. We must make our best efforts to fully understand and appreciate the Ritual, and to hold one another accountable to fulfill the duties and expectations of the oaths of initiation, and of the offices we individually hold. We will make it our duty as a chapter to ensure candidates for initiation consist of only those who meet the requirements of the Jordan Standard, and will take their initiation as a life changing event which will influence the way they act and think in their everyday life; thus being worthy of initiation. We are the leaders on our campus, wishing to extend our contributions further into the surrounding community which on consist of: Temple Terrace, New Tampa, and industries where a mutual benefit can be attained. Our involvement is broad and deep, reflecting the diverse nature of our membership and promoting the development of leadership skills in our members.
