Last year our chapter was forced to develop a new sober driving program with just active brother drivers. Below is an updated plan from last year as we worked out kinks in the new system. Another big part of our strategy this year is to continue our new philanthropy event, Sigma Chi Fight Night. In this event amateur fighters from each fraternity will duke it out in a boxing tournament. At the end of the tournament the fraternity with the most points earned by their fighters wins. We have already raised enough money to support this expensive event, and we are hoping to raise thousands more to donate to the Huntsman Foundation. Our event is November 13 and 14. Following is the packet we developed for this event. We are inviting all of our brothers, so feel free to join in the festivities.

3.
A major undertaking this year has been and continues to be the restructuring and refining of the pledge program. This new program is based on Ritual and features a system of positive reinforcement in which the pledge class works together to assemble The Founders’ Chain. The chain is comprised of seven links that the pledge class earns through group activities in which they grow in their understanding of our 7 virtues. These links are distributed at the end of each week as a reward for their endeavors to better understand our history and seek the truest meanings of Sigma Chi. This creative addition to the new member process has been a great success for the chapter and has culminated in a tight-knit group of young men who are excited and ready to construct their legacy.

4.
As the chapter continues to grow to nearly 130 memebers it is becoming more important to strengthen our brotherhood and come together as a chapter. We have two main goals to strengthen brotherhood for this year. The begin we are going to start having monthly chapter dinners where everyone can come together before meeting to catch up. The second and most important thing we are going to do is put together a Chapter retreat. We're going to get at least 80% participation in a weekend retreat that focuses on building brotherhood.
