Iota Lambda Strategic Planning

Chapter Vision

The Iota Lambda chapter will strive to create an atmosphere that encourages significant contributions and perpetual growth within our community, the university, and within our own chapter.

Goal 1: To have a house that is a strong asset and welcoming environment for past and present brothers as well as one that will continue to strengthen the bonds of brotherhood.

Action Plan:

• Create a system of by-laws that will proliferate a welcoming atmosphere to all guests and will ensure safe living conditions for all brothers.
• Annually fill the house capacity.
• Create a house advisory board, composed of actives and alumni, to plan proper house risk management.
• Keep visual records in the house of chapter history, programs, and legacy.

Goal 2: Identify our strengths with Alumni involvement and perpetuate those strengths.

Action Plan:

• Keep updated communications with alumni regarding mailing lists, newsletters, events, and personal phone calls.
• To establish as set plan for alumni donations to the housing corp.
• To establish and maintain a close relationship with the Louisville Alumni chapter and local alumni.

Goal 3: To maximize current fundraising initiatives within our own chapter.

Action Plan:

• Create two major fundraising events (fall and spring semester).
• Improve alumni involvement within fundraising efforts.
• Promote more active chapter involvement in all fundraising efforts.
