Brothers and Quaestors are encouraged to contribute succesful fundraising ideas. Please contribute and feel free to learn from other Chapter's successes.

Iota Eta successful fundraisers:
  • Pumpkin sale - An alumnus of the Iota Eta chapter owns a pumpkin patch and donates as many pumpkins as we can take yearly. We sell the pumpkins at Homecoming for a good profit.
  • Car wash - Pick a sorority, find a locale, and have a car wash. It makes decent money, if it's a busy thoroughfare, and it's also a good time.
  • 50/50 raffles - Sell tickets at events with alumni present in which the winner takes half the pot and the chapter keeps the rest.

General fundraisers:
  • selling hamburgers/hotdogs are football games on the sidelines
  • work with a local restaurant to promote it on an off-night and ask for a percentage or $ amount of what they take in from each flier brought in on that night ($1 per flyer).
  • Rent or buy a used Coke machine and fill it yourselves with discount soda purchased from Coke or at Costco or WalMart (about $.33 per can).
  • Rent-A-Sig to alumni for basic yard clean-up, painting, babysitting
  • Wrap holiday presents for $1-$2 per package
  • Krispy Kreme donut fundraisers
  • Domino's / Papa John's coupon books
  • Car washes
  • Get-out of Jail auctions
  • Silent auctions at formals with good donated by local merchants and alumni
