Epsilon Sigma

Strategic Plan for Fall 2008. Epsilon Sigma, Florida Southern College Vision: Keeping a small chapter bond with a house twice its regular size. 1.) Pledge class of over 20: It has been a long time since our small chapter has had a large pledge class. Starting August 16th, constant effort to recruit by all brothers. Inviting recruits to social events and over to the house. The recruitment chair must have a layout of all events and list of recruits as well as motivating the brothers to keep looking for guys in any setting. 2.) Solid Judicial Board: Making a master list of rules and a clearly defined tier system. Holding brothers accountable when punishments are handed out. Also, the head of the J-Board must have written documentation from each hearing. Having the ec help with enforcement of J-boards decision. 3.) Unified and Proactive executive committee: Agenda for each meeting. The past few years the ec has not been on the same page and that has resulted weaknesses in the business aspects of the chapter. Organization and constant communication will help in getting the entire ec on the same page and unified. 4.) 2.9 house GPA: Scholarship chair is creating a strict plan for the semester. Other than study halls, brothers and pledges will be required to go to study workshops, best practices, tutor tables, and a scholarship game; where the highest and the lowest GPA’s are paired up on a team compete against the other teams for highest overall GPA at the end of the semester. 5.) Winning Peterson: Starting early is a key component to winning a Peterson. Keeping track of all forms of events is something we must have this year. We will turn in our Peterson application 3weeks before it is due to our Grand Preator. 6.) Ritual Education: We are developing a more in depth PIT for the new brothers. We are also coordinating a ritual workshop with Bruce Casner at headquarters.
