Sigma Chi’s core values are friendship, justice and learning. Our vision is to become the preeminent collegiate leadership development organization—aligned, focused and living our core values. Our mission is to develop values-based leaders committed to the betterment of character, campus and community.

Chapter Vision

To become the preeminent fraternity at GWU by being a well managed chapter, providing opportunities for personal growth, committing ourselves to service, and recruiting men of excellence and good character in accordance with our ritual and values.

Areas of Strategic Focus & Goals

Brotherhood & Personal Development
  1. Expand PIT Program
  2. Rebuild Scholarship & Mentorship Programs
  3. Create Leadership Development Program

Internal Chapter Management

  1. Increase Collections
  2. Incentivize Due Collection
  3. Improve Communications Between Chapter and Officers
  4. 100% RAM Training as well as additional RM Programming

Commitment to Service

  1. Rebuild Community Service Program
  2. Improve Management of Derby Days, Achieve $5000 Fundraising Goal
  3. Enforce Mandatory 10 Community Service Hours

Recruitment

  1. Fully Implement Rush 365
  2. Recruit 40 guys during 2008-2009 Academic Year
  3. Improve Marketing & Image of Chapter
  4. Develop Three New and Legal Tactics to Target and Reach Specific Potential New Members by the End of the Semester.
