2007-08 Chapter Strategic Plan
Goals:
1.REBUILD
Our Chapter is goingovercoming through a difficultchallenging rebuilding phase with our first year back on campus. We have a dedicated senior-level group of members, though inexperienced in fraternity ritual and tradition, using much alumni guidance and involvement to rebuild the positive Sigma Chi principles and procedures. At the same time, we are leaving behind any negative aspects of our old chapter tradtitions behind..
To help facilitate our rebuilding process we have developed roles for each officer to keep up. The roles are described below:
Consul - Promote the development of a value-based organization
Pro-Consul - Assist the consul and maintain order in the house
Quaestor - Maintain a strong financial atmosphere
Magister - Prepare brothers-to-be for Initiation
Risk Manager - Cultivate a culture of awareness
Graduate Student Advisor - oversee all activities and facilitate communications between brothers-to-be, brothers, and alumni
Although we have many barriors with campus image and internal structure to overcome, the brothers of this chapter, guided by alumni support, are ripe for the challenge.
2. CAMPUS/COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT
We are involved in campus and community life, working diligently to promote a positive image of Sigma Chi in Norman.
