2007-08 Strategic Plan-Alpha Gamma Vision- To strengthen all aspects of our chapter including recruitment, academics, leadership, and brotherhood to uphold our status as the premier fraternity at The Ohio State University. Goal- Win the Peterson Award, increase membership to over 80 actives, and facilitate the Sigma Chi Ritual in all aspects of our brotherhood at Alpha Gamma. Understanding of Sigma Chi Ritual. Valuing non-classroom opportunities.High level of camaraderie. Action Plan Recruit 50+ new members - Recruitment will become a chapter effort by using small teams to target key prospects
- Create an ongoing recruitment model to pass on to the next recruitment chair
Increase Understanding of Sigma Chi Ritual - P.I.T meetings will become more formal and get more participation from the chapter
- An alumni will come to speak to our chapter about the origin and meaning of our Ritual
Develop leadership - Encourage new initiates to take on small positions within the house
- Send rising leaders within our chapter to BLTW and Horizons every year
Support Academics - Create a scholarship to reward high scholastic achievement within the chapter
- Promote the value of our new study room to possible recruits
Enhance Pledge Education - Teach the lessons and ideals of our fraternity through resources from Nationals
- Structure the learning period by focusing on a different trait from the Jordan Standard each week
Improve camaraderie - Plan a brother-only social event each week to strengthen brotherhood
- Make a conscious effort to get to know everyone and evade clichés
Universal brotherhood - Host events at our house for Alpha Gamma alumni
- Open our house for Sigma Chi’s at other chapters to stay at when they visit for football games
